Athlete highest paid in the world in 2021, according to the traditional 'Forbes' magazine, Conor McGregor remains relevant when it comes to wealth among professional athletes. Recently, the 'The report of Statista' released a list that chooses the greatest 'rich people' of all time in sport. The Ultimate star appears in the top 50.
At the top of the list is Michael Jordan. Considered by many to be the best basketball player of all time, the legend has an impressive sum of US$3,3 billion (about R$16,3 billion).

Multi-time boxing world champion, Floyd Mayweather also appears in the top 10. With US$1,41 billion (approximately R$7 billion), the icon of the 'noble art' is in eighth place.
Another boxing star on the list is Mike Tyson. Star of the sport in the 1980s and 1990s, the 'Man of Steel' accumulated US$880 million (around R$4,3 billion) and is in 16th position.
Also in boxing, Manny Pacquiao is 21st, with US$730 million (almost R$3,6 billion); George Foreman, 24th, with US$680 (approximately R$3,3 billion), and Oscar de la Hoya, 27th, with US$670 million (around R$3,3 billion). Another icon of the 'noble art', Evander Holyfield is in 38th place, accumulating US$600 million (almost R$2,9 billion) in assets.
UFC popularity phenomenon, Conor McGregor appears 32nd on the list. Throughout his career in MMA, the Irishman earned an impressive fortune of US$620 million (around R$3 billion).
O Brazil has a representative on the list of the biggest rich people in the history of the sport. Neymar Jr. is selected, with assets of US$860 million (around R$4,2 billion).
