Last challenger for the Ultimate strawweight belt (up to 52,1kg), Amanda lemos disclosed part of the sacrifice in weight cutting for his commitment in UFC 292. On her social networks, the Brazilian published images of the dehydration process on the eve of the fight against Weili Zhang by category title.

"Easy? Never was. This is my life, my work. I love what I do”, wrote the woman from Pará.

In the images (see below), it is possible to notice the Brazilian supported by the team as she leaves the 'portable sauna'. With wear and tear, the athlete needs to be 'escorted' to the next stage of the process.

In the confrontation, Lemos ended up being defeated by Zhang in a unanimous decision by the judges. In her first title fight in the company, the fighter was unable to repeat the good performances that confirmed her as a challenger to the throne.
