After pleas from Dana White and chances of new injury, Chris Weidman surprises when discussing retirement from MMA

Defeated in his return to MMA, in UFC 292, Chris Weidman He was adamant when discussing his possible retirement from the sport. Back to the sport two years after serious injury suffered and with a possible new injury after the confrontation against Brad Tavares, the veteran rules out hanging up his gloves. Even with Dana White's 'plea', the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg.) remains irreducible and guarantees to continue competing.

“I'm not finished. I'll come back better than ever. (…) Both my legs are quite injured. I'm in a wheelchair. The leg from surgery is quite swollen, but I don't think there are any serious injuries,” said Weidman, in an interview with 'ESPN'.
