Jon Jones he already has a date and opponent for his first heavyweight title defense. Bones faces the former champion Stipe Miocic in the main fight of UFC 295, on November 11th, in New York (USA). The announcement was made by Dana White, president of the organization, during the ceremonial weigh-in of the UFC 290, on Friday night (07).

The fight against Miocic could be the last fight of Jon Jones' career, who has already revealed his desire to hang up his gloves after the clash. Jones is considered by many fans and analysts to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time. The 35-year-old American has a record of 27 wins and just one loss – due to disqualification – as a professional. Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg.), Bones moved up to the heavyweight category after three years away and needed just two minutes to submit Frenchman Cyril Gane and joins the group of champions in two Ultimate categories.
Moreover, Stipe Miocic, considered by many to be the best heavyweight of all time, tries to take back the throne that was once his. He hasn't performed since UFC 260, when he ended up brutalized against Francis Ngannou, losing the division title. Miocic has a professional record of 20 wins and four losses.
