Originally marked for the UFC 290, on July 08th, the duel between the Brazilians Rafael dos Anjos e Vincent Luque got a new date. According to information from 'MMA Fighting', the clash between the two Brazilian athletes will now take place on August 12th, in the main fight of an Ultimate 'Fight Night' event. The clash will be held in the welterweight division (up to 77,1kg).

Dos Anjos returned to the welterweight division in December 2022 with a beautiful submission over Bryan barberena, in the second round. Former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Rafael won three of his last four clashes in the organization, being defeated only by the prospect Raphael Fiziev last July.
Pointed out as a possible candidate for the title, Vicente had been driven by four consecutive victories but saw his rise being slowed down by Belal Muhammad | in April 2022. Back in the octagon, the Brazilian was knocked out by the American Geoff neal and saw his dream of fighting for the belt become even more distant with the second consecutive setback.
The card scheduled for August 12th has no other fights confirmed yet and will be held at Apex, home of Ultimate in Las Vegas (USA).
