Creator of Facebook and declared martial arts enthusiast, Mark Zuckerberg participated for the first time in a jiu-jitsu camp last Saturday (6), in California. The North American tycoon shared records of his participation on social media.
According to information from 'Jits Magazine', a North American portal specializing in the gentle art, Mark Zuckerberg competed in the master white belt division with and without the gi and won medals in both variations.

“I competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu. Thank you Dave Camarillo, Khai Wu and James Terry for training me”, wrote Zuckerberg on his official Instagram profile.
Several MMA and jiu-jitsu athletes reacted to the publication by congratulating Mark Zuckerberg on his achievement. Among them the champions Alexander Volkanovsky, Israel adesanya e Brandon Moreno and the brazilians Rudolph Vieira e Amanda ribas.
Mark Zuckerberg revealed his love for MMA and martial arts as a whole during his appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast last year. The Facebook owner revealed he was introduced to the gentle art by surfing friends and has since fallen in love.
