Jon Jones he used social media to dispel opinions that the Frenchman would be the most technical stand-up opponent in his career. According to the North American, Thiago Marreta was impressive when they faced each other in 2019 and proved to be a striker complete.
“I just watched my fight against Marreta. I think it's crazy for you to consider the Cyryl Gane as the most technical kickboxer I've ever faced. Everything Thiago did was to hurt me, it was with the worst intentions. He is very fast, has power, explosion, great versatility”, declared Jones in his account on Twitter.
