The big moment has arrived. This Saturday (21), the UFC 283, an event that promises to move Rio de Janeiro. After almost three years, Ultimate arrives in Brazil and presents fans with a star-studded spectacle. In total, the show has 15 fights planned, including two title fights involving Tupiniquins.
In the main fight, Glover Teixeira faces Jamahal hill in a confrontation valid for the vacant light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.). At 43 years old, the Minas Gerais native is looking to retake the category's throne, lost last season, when he was overtaken by Jiri Prochazka.
The penultimate fight of the event marks the first tetralogy in the company's history valid for a title. Linear and interim champions, Deiveson Figueiredo e Brandon Moreno they measure forces again and define the absolute champion of the category.
Still on the main card, Gilbert Durinho, Jessica Stacker e Johnny Walker they introduce themselves. In the preliminary round, 12 more Tupiniquins will go up to the Octagon, with emphasis on Mauritius Shogun, who will end his career at the age of 41.

No UFC 283, the fly division promotes the first tetralogy in the organization's history. In the octagon, Deiveson Figueiredo e Brandon Moreno they will measure forces in search of the absolute top of the category.
On the one hand, the man from Pará defends the group's linear belt. On the other, the interim champion seeks to return to the group's throne.

No UFC 283, the Niteroiense will measure strength with Neil Magny. After challenging names like Jorge masvidal and Chimaev himself.

4) Jéssica Bate-Estaca fights at flyweight

Former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg.) and former challenger to the flyweight throne, Jessica Stacker has a new commitment in the category up to 56,7kg. This weekend, the Paraná native will be the veteran’s opponent Lauren Murphy.
While the 39-year-old American defends fourth position in the category of Valentina Shevchenko, Jéssica seeks to enter the top 5. Today, the Brazilian from PRVT (Paraná Vale Tudo) is in sixth place.
No UFC 283, Bate-Estaca arrives on the back of two consecutive victories. In her last match, the Paraná native produced a historic finish against Amanda lemos.

The fighter measures strength with Paul Craig, number nine in the group. In case of victory, the athlete will resume a prominent position in the division.
Against the Scotsman, Johnny will be able to add his second victory in a row. The rival, on the other hand, comes from a defeat against Volkan oezdemir.

World MMA icon, Mauritius Shogun performs her 'last dance' in UFC 284. Pride legend and former Ultimate light heavyweight champion, the Curitiba native will say goodbye to the sport at the age of 41.
For the ‘goodbye’, the combatant will share the octagon with Ihor Potieria. 15 years older than his opponent tries to leave the sport with a positive result, a situation that has not happened since the triumph over Rogério MinotouroIn 2020.
The fighter will leave the sport with 42 commitments. Today, the Curitiba native has 27 wins, 13 losses and one 'no contest'.
