The arrival of Jake Paul the PFL has encouraged the company's fighters. Now, it was time to Thiago Marreta, who signed in September to compete in the organization after leaving the UFC, asked for a fight against the YouTuber. He also made an allusion to his compatriot Renato Moicano and says he is keeping an eye on the 'money' in a possible fight.

“As my brother (Renato) Moicano says: “Marreta wants money”, wrote Marreta in his 'Twitter' official, before commenting on the PFL profile asking for a fight against Jake.

From his 'new home', Marreta still doesn't have a date to debut in the PFL and can compete in the light heavyweight tournament (up to 93kg.), which was won by Antonio Shoe Guy in 2021. He must compete in the championship that awards US$1 million (more than R$5 million) to the big winner.

Jake Paul, in turn, began his successful career in professional boxing, having beaten names like Ben Askren, Tyron woodley e Anderson Silva. The YouTuber has now signed a multi-year contract with the organization and must compete in a new division called 'Super Fights', against other big names. An internet phenomenon, the athlete has not yet announced his next career move.
