Promising flyweight reveals injury suffered and promises commitment to be on the UFC 286 card

Considered one of the biggest prospects in Ultimate today, the British Muhammad Mokayev announced a sad injury that could slow his rise in the organization. On his Twitter, the flyweight fighter revealed that he will undergo surgery due to a dislocation in his right shoulder and promised his commitment to be on the fight card. UFC 286, which will take place in London (ING), in March 2023.

“Alhadmulillah in any situation! Unfortunately I dislocated my shoulder, now I will wait for the operation! Thank you to all my supporters I will be back as soon as possible, I promise you! Love you all. Exactly the same day last year that I broke my hand before my debut in UFC London, I will do everything to fight on the UFC 28 card. I tried to keep the operation until after the fight, but I can't even lift my arm”, wrote Mokaev.

Fourteenth in the flyweight rankings, Muhammad was hired by the UFC in 2022 and won three victories this season alone. The English fighter defeated cody durden e Malcolm Gordon by completion and Charles Johnson, in the unanimous decision of the judges. Mokaev has an undefeated record in the sport of eight positive results.
