Jorge masvidal, finally, responded to the constant challenges of Gilbert Durinho for fighting in UFC 283, which marks the return of Ultimate to Rio de Janeiro. After his refusal, ‘Jesus das Ruas’ accused the Brazilian of using his name to promote himself and said he could face him in the future, as long as the fight takes place in London, England.

“The fight was offered, but it was never official. I always ended it, because I couldn't fight. He travels. As if I had promised him something. I promised it would be March or April, when (Leon) Edwards fights. I put the word there. Durinho says: ‘I don’t want to fight. I want to fight in Brazil’. Keep my name out of his mouth, man. He says my name and gets thousands of followers. It's the trick he's playing. If he wants to fight, we have March or April in London,” Masvidal told ‘MMA fighting'.
