Former UFC light heavyweight (up to 93kg) title challenger, Thiago Marreta reinforced his passion for football. The fighter, who is the father of Thiago Santos, a Grêmio academy athlete, published a record of his 'adventures' with the ball at his foot. The publication took place on the eve of Brazil's match against Cameroon in the World Cup.

“In the World Cup atmosphere. From the time when I showed my talent with the ball. Anyone who knows me knows that I used to wash well. My son had someone to take after, right, Thiago Santos? Tomorrow there's Brazil. Up”, wrote Marreta, in his profile on Instagram.

Currently, the Canarinho team leads group G and faces Cameroon this Friday (2) already classified for the round of XNUMX.

Brazilian fan, Marreta is getting closer to starting a new cycle in his career. At the end of 2022, the athlete confirmed his migration to the PFL and will be included in the light heavyweight tournament, which, in addition to the title, awards the winner with the dream check of US$1 million (R$5,3 million).
