Owner of the belt'BMF' from the UFC, Jorge masvidal definitely does not want to measure strength with Michael chandler. After being challenged by Bellator legend, or 'bad boy' explained why he doesn't intend to share the octagon with his compatriot. The athlete was controversial when he rejected the clash.

"Michael chandler He's a guy used to giving up. He doesn't have the main thing to have the belt'BMF. I saw him facing my friend Will Brooks and Will attacked him so hard that he (Chandler) gave up in the middle of the confrontation. Thick-skinned is the shit**. You can not give up. He may be defeated, but he cannot give up”, said Masvidal, in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.

Finally, Jorge stated that he will not measure strength with Michael. According to 'bad boy', facing his compatriot would not boost his trajectory in the UFC.

“Killing this guy doesn’t help me at all. It does nothing for me or my career. So, I don’t care,” he concluded.

Twice challenging for the welterweight belt (under 77kg), Masvidal is going through the worst moment in his professional MMA career. Today, the athlete has accumulated three consecutive defeats, something unprecedented until then.

Hired by Ultimate to compete at lightweight (up to 70,3kg), Michael chandler competed for the division title in 2021, being surpassed by Charles of the Bronx. In the company, the North American has five fights, with two triumphs and three setbacks.
