This Saturday (18), Ultimate returns to Apex to close the organization's month of November. In the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 65, an 'explosive' meeting between Derrick Lewis e Sergey Spivak promises to move 'the best' in the heavyweight division (up to 120.kg). Three Brazilian athletes will represent the green and yellow flag in the most famous octagon in the world. In total, 12 fights are planned for the show.

Seventh in the heavyweight rankings, the 'Black Beast' returns to the octagon to try to recover from the bad phase he is going through in his career. In his last four fights, the former challenger suffered three defeats, two in a row and fell in the rankings, moving away from the division's elite. A win over Spivak could return Lewis to the top-5 of the weight class led by Francis Ngannou.

Unlike his rival, Spivak is enjoying a good moment in his career with five wins in his last six fights, only being held back by the prospect Tom aspinall, in September 2021. Twelfth in the division standings, Sergey can reach the top-10 of the division for the first time and begin to dream of getting closer to the elite.

Brazil on the card

In the penultimate fight of the preliminary card, the former flyweight challenger (under 56,7kg) wants to show that she can get a new opportunity to fight for the Ultimate belt. Even coming off two consecutive defeats, the Brazilian fighter believes that the Ukrainian Maryna moroz is the 'ideal opponent' for her to get back on the path to victory. The Brazilian athlete is eighth in the division led by Valentina Shevchenko.

In his third fight in the organization, Mary Oliveira tries to 'break the tie' with his record and get his second consecutive victory in the biggest MMA organization in the world. In a duel valid for the division of straws (up to 52,2kg), the 'Spider Girl' measures forces against the Greek Vanessa Demopoulos who comes from two consecutive victories in Ultimate.

Opening the fight night at UFC Vegas 65, flyweight (up to 56,7kg) Natalia Silva takes to the Octagon to show that her exuberant debut against Jasmine Jasudavicious was not an 'atypical display'. The 'Team Borracha' athlete will have a tough challenge against the Czech Tereza Bledá, who is undefeated in professional MMA.
