Brazilian standout in the welterweight division (up to 77kg.) of Ultimate, Gilbert Durinho remains willing to perform at UFC Brasil, which takes place on January 21st. The Niteroi native, however, seems to have a new opponent in sight. After advances and repeated refusals to face Jorge masvidal, the Tupiniquim turned his eyes to Neil Magny.
The suggestion was made on social media. In a publication, the Brazilian revealed the name of his possible opponent and also caught the attention of the Ultimate moderators on the platform.

Former challenger for the welterweight belt, Durinho has not performed since the battle against Khamzat Shimaev, in April 2022.
Today, the fighter occupies fifth place in the group led by Leon edwards. Coming off a victory over Daniel Rodriguez, Magny is 13th.
