Patrício Pitbull has a Brazilian duel in a 'supercard' between Bellator and RIZIN in the New Year

It's official. Last Tuesday (26), Bellator and RIZIN announced the long-awaited 'crossover' for a supercard in the New Year, December 31st, with the Brazilian clash between Patrick Pitbull and Kleber Koike in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), in an event taking place at the Saitama Super Arena, in Japan. The announcement was made by the companies at a press conference.

For Coker's company, Pitbull has already had 25 fights, with 20 triumphs and five setbacks. He debuted in the 15th edition, beating compatriot William Romero. Over the years, Patrício also hit significant names, such as Michael chandler, A. J. McKee, Daniel Straus and Juan Archuleta. In his career, in total, there are 34 positive results and five negative ones.

With a strong jiu-jitsu game, Koike is a big standout for RIZIN. A professional since 2008, the São Paulo native won the organization's featherweight title by submitting Juntaro Ushiku with a triangle choke in the second round. He is also on a seven-fight winning streak. At 33 years old, the fighter has a record of 31 triumphs, five setbacks and one draw.

In addition to Pitbull x Koike, jiu-jitsu standout and RIZIN champion, Roberto Satoshi, squares off against the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg), A. J. McKee, in the main fight of the night. The fights between Juan Archuleta and Kim Soo Chul were also announced, in addition to Kyoji Horiguchi and Hiromasa Ougikubo. Chris Cyborg, who is not initially cast, also asked to participate in the 'super event'.
