Presidential debate 2022: Fighters react after last meeting between candidates before the elections

Last Thursday night (29), the last presidential debate before the elections took place. After around two hours of transmission, via TV Globo, fighters spoke about the meeting between the candidates, which was marked by the exchange of barbs by those eligible. Names like Marlon moraes, Bruno Blindado and Renzo Gracie expressed their opinions.

The debate featured the participation of seven of the 11 candidates for president of Brazil. Ciro Gomes (PDT), Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Lula (PT), Felipe d'Avila (Novo), Simone Tabet (MDB), Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil) and Padre Kelmon (PTB) attended the clash before the elections which take place this Sunday (2).

During the dispute between those eligible, marked by verbal attacks from some parties involved, fighters expressed their opinions and positions.

New PFL star, Marlon moraes declared his support for the current president, Jair Bolsonaro, candidate for re-election.

UFC middleweight (up to 83,9kg), Bruno Blindado chose another way to deal with the situation. The fighter suggested less 'hate' among voters.

In the form of EVEN, Raulian paiva also had an alternative stance. The bantamweight (up to 61,2kg.) criticized the 'war' between voters for Jair Bolsonaro and Lula, who lead the voting intention polls.

Elections 2022

The 2022 Elections will be held this Sunday (2) and, if there is a second round, new voting will take place on October 30th. Voting is mandatory for Brazilians between 18 and 69 years old, and optional for those over 70 years old. Young people aged 16 and 17 also have the option – or not – of computing their intentions.
