Former Brave standout, Saint Denis extended its good phase. A lightweight athlete (up to 70,3 kg.), the Frenchman achieved his second consecutive victory and, in three appearances, he had only one setback, suffered in the fight against Elizeu Capoeira.

The fight

The confrontation began with Denis taking the initiative with a kick to the Brazilian's waistline. Miranda seemed to acknowledge the blow and immediately started grappling and tried to take the fight to the ground. The man from Paraná managed to take him down, but Benoit got up quickly. The Frenchman showed aggression and got the better of the exchange. With just over a minute, the clash was busy. While Gabriel opted for grappling, Denis sought the knockout, combining punches and rotating elbows. Halfway through the round, Miranda went to the ground and tried to attract his rival into his guard. Standing up, the Frenchman kicked the Tupiniquim's legs, but the referee demanded that the fight be fought standing up again. Near the final minute, Benoit shook the Paraná native with a jab and a straight shot, which took the Brazilian down. The Frenchman went up and attacked with ground and pound. Denis rehearsed the katagatame, while the Tupiniquim took cover. In the final seconds, Benoit allowed the Brazilian to stay on his feet and rocked the Tupiniquim with punches, but there was no more time.
