Luke Rockhold's retirement at UFC 278 marked the end of a victorious generation of fighters at the American Kickboxing Academy, located in San Jose, California (USA). After the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) hung up his gloves with the defeat to Paulo borrachinha, a 'golden generation' of the renowned academy came to an end, which won several belts in major organizations such as Strikeforce and UFC.
