It's time for SUPER FIGHTS predictions. This week, our team brings bets for the long-awaited UFC 278, which takes place this Saturday (20), in Salt Lake City (USA). The main attraction is the title fight between Kamaru Usman e Leon edwards, in addition to having names such as Paulo borrachinha e José Aldo.

Predictions will be based on the main card of the event, plus the presentations of the three Brazilians in the first half of the show.

In the main fight, Kamaru Usman returns to the octagon and seeks his sixth title defense at welterweight (up to 77kg.). Absolute in the category, the Nigerian measures forces against Leon edwards, an opponent already defeated by the athlete in 2015, in the judges' decision.

The penultimate clash of the event features the debut of Paulo borrachinha in the 2022 season. A standout among the middleweights (up to 83,9kg.), the Minas Gerais native is looking to recover from two consecutive defeats and, to do so, he needs to get past the former group champion, Luke Rockhold, which is back in action after more than three years of inactivity.

Still on the main card, José Aldo Take on your first challenge of the year. Close to a new title fight in bantamweight (up to 61,2kg.) the MMA legend measures forces with Merab Dvalishvili. If he wins, Manauara can regain his status as challenger.

In the first half of the show, Brazil has three representatives. Leo Santos face Jared gordon; Francisco Figueredo faces amir albazi e Daniel Miojo will be the opponent of Victor Altamirano.

Palpites SUPER FIGHTS scoring system

The guesses will be made by the team at SUPER FIGHTS. At the end of the season, whoever scores the most points will be the team's 'best bettor'.

The scoring system will be simple. Whoever gets the winner right gets a point. Whoever 'guarantees the way in which the outcome happens, earns three points and, if the bettor 'predicts' the positive result exactly (example: knockout in R1, submission in R3, decision by points), the guesser is awarded with five points.

UFC 278

O UFC 278 takes place this Saturday (20) and is scheduled to start at 19:30 pm (Brasília time), with the preliminary card. The main one starts around 23pm (Brasília time).

In total, the event has 12 fights scheduled. Kamaru Usman and Leon Ewdards compete for the welterweight belt in the main event.

Brazil has five representatives: Paulo borrachinha, José Aldo, Leo Santos, Francisco Figueredo e Daniel Miojo.
