Israel Adesanya names favorite for the fight between Paulo Borrachinha and Luke Rockhold at UFC 278

Owner of the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.) in Ultimate, Israel adesanya will be keeping an eye on the co-main fight of UFC 278, which takes place this Saturday (20). On your channel YouTube, the Nigerian analyzed the clash between Paulo borrachinha e Luke Rockhold, pointing out his favorite to leave the octagon with victory. The athlete also suggested the way for the North American to overcome his old rival.

“Luke needs to take down, wrestle early. At the beginning of the confrontation, Costa (Borrachinha) is dangerous. (…) If Luke can take him to the ground, or just wrestle, tire him out (he could have an advantage). (…) You need to make him understand that he can be overthrown,” he said.

Aware of possible opponents for the future, Adesanya did not shy away from naming the favorite for victory. According to the Nigerian, Rockhold should leave the octagon with a positive result.

“With the time Luke has been away, I hope his brain has recovered as much as possible. I’m going to bet on Luke”, he concluded.

Former middleweight champion, Rockhold returns to MMA after more than three years of inactivity. In his last commitment, the North American ventured into light heavyweight (up to 93kg), but ended up being badly knocked out by Jan Blachowicz.

A Brazilian standout in the under-83,9kg division, Borrachinha is under pressure for a positive result. The athlete has two consecutive setbacks, one of them against Adesanya, in the fight for the category title.
