With few defeats in his vast MMA career, the Russian Fedor Emelianenko does not hide his desire to take revenge for his most recent setback. In a press conference after the Bellator 283, which took place last Friday (22), organization president Scott Coker revealed that the former Pride champion wants a rematch against the North American Ryan bader, who knocked him out in 2019, before retiring from the sport.

“I will tell you that it is a fight that Fedor (Emelianenko) really wants. We had this conversation. This is his last contract fight. He told me he wanted to retire, and I didn't talk to Bader about it. But it's something that, you know, it's hard to say no to Fedor, let's put it that way. We'll definitely consider it, but it's definitely not imminent yet. But we’re definitely going to have that conversation,” Coker said.
