The team at SUPER FIGHTS had the difficult task of choosing, among so many, the five most striking and impressive outcomes of the first half of the year. Jamahal Hill x Johnny Walker – UFC Las Vegas 48

The first knockout on the list happened in the second month of the year. In the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 48, on February 18, Jamahal hill connected a direct encounter on the forehead of Johnny Walker. Upon receiving the blow, the Brazilian's body was projected backwards in a peculiar way, which further enhanced the North American's knockout.

Manny Akpan x Connor Hitchens – Cage Warriors 136

We remain in England, but we exchange the UFC octagon for that of Cage Warriors, where the British Manny Akpan put capoeira into play and surprised his compatriot Connor Hitchens with a spectacular half-moon, guaranteeing the victory by knockout and a place in our list.

Molly McCann x Luana Dread – UFC London

From Las Vegas, we cross the Atlantic and go to England, more precisely to the octagon of UFC London, held on March 19th. In an event full of knockouts and submissions, one stood out from the rest due to his brutality. For the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg), Molly McCann connected a well-aimed rotating elbow and erased the Brazilian Luana Dread in one of the most brutal outcomes in the history of women's MMA.

Michael Chandler vs Tony Ferguson – UFC 274

In the controversial UFC 274, an event in which Charles of the Bronx finished Justin gaethje, but lost the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg) for not making weight, the brutality quota was fulfilled by Michael chandler. The former Bellator champion “obliterated” Tony Ferguson with a spectacular front kick in the second round.

Weili Zhang x Joanna Jedrzejczyk – UFC 275

Last but not least, the former strawweight champion (up to 52,1 kg) Weili Zhang secured her place on the list by knocking out former champion Joanna Jedrzjeczyk with a devastating spinning punch in the second round of the long-awaited rematch between the two. The Polish announced her retirement from MMA shortly after the defeat.
