New star in the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg) of Ultimate, Alex Poatán is on the rise in world MMA. Executioner of Sean Strickland No. UFC 276, the São Paulo native made a point of celebrating his achievement with Glover Teixeira, one of his mentors in the sport. Moments after the massacre, the athlete narrated how he managed to achieve a positive result last Saturday (2).

In the images (see below), it is possible to see Poatan narrating crucial moments of the confrontation. Attentive, Teixeira gets excited about the strategy outlined by his pupil.

The weekend was historic for Alex. In addition to maintaining 100% success with UFC gloves, the São Paulo native got his passport stamped for a middleweight title fight, against Israel adesanya, his victim twice in his kickboxing days.

Featured at the event, Poatan had even more reasons to celebrate. With the triumph, the athlete was one of the lucky ones to receive a bonus of US$50 (around R$270) for his performance.
