The fourth fight on the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 54, an event held this Saturday (14), did not end well for Alan Nuguette. The Brazilian ended up surprised by a left cross from the veteran Michael Johnson in the second round of the duel and runs the risk of being 'cut' from Ultimate.

Training partner Charles of the Bronx in 'Chute Boxe', Nuguette remains without a win – since 2018 –, coming from three defeats and a 'no result' fight. He has 15 positive results and four negative results.
'Runner-up'The Ultimate Fighter 12', Johnson wins again after four straight defeats. In Ultimate since 2010, he has 20 triumphs and 17 setbacks.
The fight
Nuguette didn't get off to a good start, receiving blows from close range and actually swinging directly at Johnson. The Brazilian responded well with a counterattack and tried to take him down, but saw his attempt thwarted by Michael. Then, Alan threw another round kick and tried to take down, but fell underneath.
The second round began with Johnson in a pressure game, in addition to applying a direct encounter. Nuguette, in turn, was still trying for takedowns, but saw his opponent make the save with ease. Alan left his face exposed in one attempt and received a left cross to fall already knocked out. The American still had time to put two more hammers into the ground.
