After an electrifying fight against Justin gaethje, Charles of the Bronx sees a future in the lightweight division in an attempt to regain his 'number one' position. In a post-UFC 274 This Saturday (7), the Brazilian revealed that he wants to fight in December in Brazil.

“I think the timing is the same thing that happened last year, (I want) to fight in December. Something really cool happened in the locker room today. The whole team hugged me there and said that I should be in the middle so they could take all the hits in the world. Let them work and see who we're going to fight. But it has to be in Brazil”, said Do Bronx.

In a moment of great morale among Brazilian fans, Charles was scheduled to fight in Brazil, but the UFC chose to change plans and promoted edition No. 274 in Phoenix (USA), due to cases of COVID-19. The organization, however, revealed its desire to return to the country for a major event in 2022.
