MAIN HIGHLIGHTS OF UFC 274

With two title fights and eight Brazilians on the card, UFC 274 is headlined by the third defense of the lightweight title by Brazilian Charles do Bronx against former interim champion Justin Gaethje.

Ariane Sorriso is the first Brazilian representative on the card. Looking for her third consecutive victory in the UFC, the São Paulo native faces Mexican Lupita Godinez in the second fight of the night.

Next, it's Kleydson Rodrigues' turn to make his Ultimate debut. Hired through the 'Contender Series', the young man from Amapá faces the North American C.J. Vergara.

Soon after, it's the turn of another young Brazilian talent. Undefeated in her career, Melissa Gatto is looking for her third victory in the UFC against Tracy Cortez, also undefeated in Ultimate with three victories.

Another looking for his third consecutive victory in the event is Marcos Pezão. The Brazilian faces Bulgarian Blagoy Ivanov with an eye on a place in the top 15 heavyweight division.

Riding on three consecutive victories, Norma Dumont faces North American Macy Chiasson. The Brazilian has not lost since her Ultimate debut in February 2020.

Closing Brazil's participation in the preliminary card, none other than Francisco Trinaldo. At 43 years old, Massaranduba has won four of his last five fights and faces Britain's Danny Roberts.

Opening the main card, a veterans' duel between Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon. At 39 years old, Cerrone hasn't won in six fights since 2019. Still, no one has more UFC victories than the "Cowboy", with 23 triumphs.

On the other side, Joe Lauzon returns to the octagon after almost three years without fighting. At 37 years old, "J-Lau" is one of the greatest finishers in UFC history, with 13 victories by interruption, and is coming off a victory.

Speaking of veterans, legend Maurício Shogun returns to the Octagon at 40 years old. Former UFC and Pride champion, the Curitiba native seeks revenge for the knockout suffered against Ovince St. Preux, in 2014.

On the other hand, St. Preux returns to light heavyweight after an unsuccessful adventure at heavyweight. "OSP" seeks to recover from two consecutive defeats.

After consecutive defeats to Charles do Bronx, in a title fight, and Justin Gaethje, in the "Fight of the Year" in 2021, former Bellator champion Michael Chandler seeks to win again in the octagon against Tony Ferguson.

On the other hand, Ferguson's situation is even more delicate. Former interim lightweight champion, "El Cucuy" comes from three straight defeats and hasn't won since June 2019.

In the co-main fight of the night, Rose Namajunas seeks the second title defense in her current reign as strawweight champion. To do so, "Thug" will have to avenge the defeat he suffered against Carla Esparza in the fourth fight of his career, in 2014.

First UFC strawweight champion, Carla Esparza has a chance to regain the belt more than seven years after losing it. To do this, "Cookie Monster" needed to score five consecutive victories.

The highlight of the night is Charles do Bronx, lightweight champion. UFC record holder for interruptions and submissions, the Brazilian is looking for the second defense of his belt and his eleventh consecutive victory.

The challenger for the belt is Justin Gaethje, former interim champion of the division. One of the most exciting athletes in the UFC, the North American has a second chance to become linear lightweight champion.
