Member of the main card of UFC Las Vegas 52, the Moldovan Alexander Romanov has been consolidating itself as a great prospect to watch in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg). Undefeated in his career, 'King Kong' faces Chase sherman in the show scheduled for next Saturday (23) and could get his dream place in the top-15 of the category in case of a triumph. Born on December 11, 1990, in the city of Comrat, Romanov started wrestling at the age of seven. The Moldovan fighter has already participated in two world championships representing his country, but his best result was a twelfth place in the 2020 European Championship. In 2016 Alex decided to enter the world of mixed martial arts and signed with the 'Eagles Fighting Championship' event ', an organization based in his home country.

With an overwhelming start to his career and trajectory in the organization, Romanov had five consecutive victories and in February 2018, he knocked out Alexander Stolyarov in the first round and became heavyweight champion. After two more fights for the company and one for the 'Plotforma Cup' event, the regional scene became small for the 'King Kong' talent.
