Dana reveals plans to hold a fight between Chimaev and Covington, if Sweden beats Durinho at UFC 273

“I think if Khamzat Shimaev win this weekend, we will see him and Colby covington right away. In a perfect world, if everything goes well, I would love to do Khamzat vs. Colby if Khazmat can win on Saturday night,” White said.

Chimaev, first, needs to get past Durinho and get out of the division's 'promise' status. Undefeated in ten fights, the Swede had a meteoric rise in Ultimate, having beaten John Philips, rhys mckee, Gerald meerschaert and most recently li jingliang.
