Joe Rogan criticizes Will Smith after attacking Chris Rock at the Oscars: 'Emotionally fragile'

The official commentator defended Rock's joke about Will's wife and attacked the emotional character of the protagonist of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'

Will Smith's surprising attack on Chris Rock at the last Oscar ceremony continues to resonate in the MMA community. In addition to comments from fighters and UFC president Dana White, Joe Rogan also gave his opinion on the matter and called Will 'emotionally fragile'.

“The idea that there is any justification for him to go there and hit him in the face like that… No, there is no justification. How do you have malicious intent in a light joke? He was emotionally fragile and acted on impulse in an incredibly stupid way. That wasn't an insult. It was a gentle joke about his hairstyle in reference to a movie where a lady shaved her head,” said Joe Rogan.

Will Smith's attack on Chris Rock took place last Sunday night (27), during the Oscar awards ceremony. After the comedian made a joke aimed at Jada Smith, Will's wife, the actor got up from his seat, went to the stage and slapped Rock in the face.
