“He needs to do what’s best for him. You need to be loyal to his dreams, that's being real. That's why I've had a lot of success, and that's why Brandon is leaving his gym in Mexico. Being loyal and being a true Mexican means having courage no matter where you are. Congratulations to Brandon. I'm glad he left. I have no ill will towards him or anything like that. We were friends, and he went to train with someone else because I didn't pick him on 'The Ultimate Fighter,' and from then on, the friendship ended,” Henry said.

Retired from MMA since May 2020, 'Triplo C' has focused his energies as a coach on 'Fight Ready' and helped Deiveson precisely in the fight against Moreno. In a five-round duel, the Brazilian managed to emerge victorious in a unanimous decision and regain his belt.

In preparation for the duel, Figueiredo even called Brandon a 'traitor' for breaking ties with Cejudo in the past and, therefore, there was some tension during the promotion for the fight on both sides. Now, however, the rivalry appears to have been overcome.
