The defeat for Rafael dos Anjos in the second most important fight of the UFC 272, an event held this Saturday (5), exacted a high price from Renato Moicano. After a five-round 'war', the Brasiliense was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. The information was released by Dana White in a post-event press conference.

“He was the only one transported (to the hospital) that night. We do the right thing after he has been evaluated by the doctor three times,” Dana said.
In a Brazilian duel, Moicano was defeated by points after receiving hard elbows and hard blows from Dos Anjos. The Ultimate doctor even evaluated him, but allowed the athlete to continue until the end of the fight. He made it to the end, despite being injured.
Moicano's streak of two victories has been broken and, after 20 days since his last performance, he has not achieved another victory. Professional since 2010, the Brasilia native has a history of 15 positive results, four negatives and one draw.
