Famous on social media for boasting an unusual physique, Sajjad Gharibi, the 'Iranian Hulk' will be tested in martial arts. On April 2, at the O2 Arena, in London, the 'monster' will take to the ring and face off against bodybuilder Martyn Ford. The confrontation should attract curious people who will be able to follow the clash of 'giants' under the rules of boxing.

With more than 600 followers on his Instagram account, Gharibi, 29, is known for sharing videos with the public in which he displays his brute strength. Its content includes, in addition to images of weightlifting, some resistance tests.
Visibly smaller than the Iranian Hulk, Ford will be responsible for trying to ruin Sajjad's party. Even at a physical disadvantage, the bodybuilder doesn't look bad and, weighing 136kg, spread over 2,06m, will try to prove his opponent's 'ineffectiveness' when it comes to martial arts.
Whether the confrontation will be competitive or not remains to be seen. What is known, however, is that the protagonists have already started the provocations.
“I promise you that you will leave the ring on a stretcher,” said Hulk, in an interview with 'Muscle and Health'.
The bodybuilder, in turn, didn't let it go. The athlete also made a point of leaving his message.
“He is not an athlete by any means. (…) Let's be very clear, the 'Iranian Hulk', as he likes to be called, would never have this exposure if it weren't for me. He doesn't respect boxing, he doesn't respect MMA. So, under normal circumstances, no one would want him to represent his brand, but I suggested it because he wanted to and so we managed to sign it,” he said.
For the boxing challenge, athletes arrive without a resume for analysis. The clash will be the protagonists' first challenge in the 'noble art'.
