“I want to fight every day, if I can, as much as possible. I'm entering my prime now, at 29 years old. I've reached the top 10 (of light heavyweights) now and people are afraid to fight so as not to lose their position in the rankings. I want to fight, make money. Enjoy it while I'm young. Then, when I get old, I won’t be able to do that anymore,” he said.

With his first commitment of the season taking place this weekend, the Brazilian can be seen again in action in March. The fighter, however, understands that he needs to get through Hill without injury, but sees the chance as real.

“This is the first fight I'm having this year. Maybe you can fight three or four times. I already want to fight in London (on March 19), if possible. If I knock out Jamahal quickly, I'll ask to fight in London, at heavyweight, at light heavyweight. I just want them to let me know as soon as possible, so I know if I'm going to need to go on a diet or not,” he explained.
