After Max Holloway offered to be the 'reserve fighter' at UFC 273, the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) Alexander Volkanovsky provoked the Hawaiian. In a post on his 'Twitter', the Australian fighter accused the former division leader of faking an injury to 'get out of focus' and take advantage of the fact that he is now preparing to face Korean zombie.

"Max Holloway wants to be the substitute fighter for the fight he was originally scheduled to fight. So, in other words, he was never hurt. I just hope he doesn't have to fight me or fight me while I'm getting ready for someone else. But, hey, 'if you're not cheating, you're trying'. No”, writes Volkanovski.

After Holloway was injured and forced the cancellation of the duel previously scheduled for March, Korean zombie replaced the former champion and will face Volkanovski. Ultimate rescheduled the match for UFC 273, scheduled for April 9th. The show will take place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, in Jacksonville, Florida (USA).
