Athletic Commission reveals that Deiveson gained around 9kg in one day for trilogy with Moreno

Deiveson Figueiredo regained the flyweight belt in the trilogy against Brandon Moreno No. UFC 270 last Saturday (22). And, in addition to standing out with his performance, the Brazilian had a good physical advantage in the fight after having excessive problems weighing 56,7kg. to compete in the division.

At the weigh-in for the match, Deiveson was one of the first to step on the scale and, at 56,2kg, passed without fear and with the same weight as his opponent for the match.

However, when replacing weight, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) reported that the Brazilian weighed around 8,7kg. of difference the next day and competed with around 64,9kg. – 3kg. of disparity over Moreno, who weighed 61,7kg. before the confrontation.

On January 22nd, Deiveson and Moreno made history in the flyweight division. O UFC 270 ended the trilogy between the athletes. Ultimately, the dispute ended in a draw, with a victory for each side and a draw.
