“To be completely honest, I felt like it was a bit of a boring fight when I was there. Yes, it doesn't make sense. It's the first time I wanted to win, more than knocking someone out. It wasn't good, I didn't like it. I want to go back to wanting to hurt someone and knock them out. Now that I won and became a challenger, I can get back to what I should be”, said the fighter.

In one of the main fights of the UFC 268, Gaethje and Chandler shared the octagon in a confrontation that could give the winner the opportunity to challenge the champion, Charles of the Bronx. In the 15-minute confrontation, the fighters put on a show and excited the audience at 'Madison Square Garden' with a battle marked by aggression.

For three rounds, the prospects left everything on the field of confrontation. The clash was decided by the judges' decision, with Justin winning unanimously.

In the post-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White assured that Gaethje will be Do Bronx's next opponent. The commitment, however, has not yet been made official by the company.
