Interim heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) of Ultimate, Cyryl Gane don't just think about the confrontation against Francis Ngannou as the next step in your career. Protagonist in UFC 270, which takes place this Saturday (22), the Frenchman already has plans for his follow-up to Ultimate. According to the athlete, Jon Jones is in the crosshairs.

“There will be a lot of pressure if I beat Francis. I want to face Jon Jones. This is the next fight”, stated the combatant, in conversation with the press at 'half day'.
In his duty to overcome one of the most feared athletes in recent MMA history this weekend, Gane explains his intention to face the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) next. For Ciryl, the technique involved in a possible confrontation could attract the attention of fans.
“A lot of people are already talking about this (about possible confrontation against Jon Jones), perhaps because we are the most complete in the division. Many talk about a technical fight. It will probably be a good marriage”, he concluded.
In addition to the obligation to beat Francis to assume the absolute heavyweight throne, Gane has another responsibility in the UFC 270. Against the 'giant', the Frenchman puts his unbeaten record in MMA at stake. Today, the athlete has 10 consecutive victories and doesn't know what it's like to feel defeat in the sport.
