Leon Edwards fires shots at Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington after UFC 272 fight announcement

Leon edwards is not impressed with the scheduling of the fight between two of his biggest rivals in the welterweight division (up to 77kg.), Jorge masvidal e Colby covington. After the announcement of the main fight of UFC 272 On March 5th, the Englishman criticized the current situation of the fighters in the organization.

“Two bums coming off defeats,” wrote Edwards in a fight announcement made by journalist Brett Okamoto, from 'ESPN'.

Coincidentally, Leon was ready and preparing to face Masvidal in the UFC 269, which took place in December 2021. However, at the time, 'Jesus das Ruas' suffered an injury and was forced to leave the card. Edwards, now, has no fight scheduled and has been considered in a possible rematch against Kamaru Usman for the division title. In the first meeting, in 2015, the Englishman ended up defeated by unanimous decision from the judges.
