“Aldo is fighting at a level where you could look and question whether he could beat (Aljamain) Sterling and the answer is yes. I'm not sure he can beat (Petr) Yan, I'll be honest about that, but Aldo is that guy. When you take a look at who he's been fighting and what he's been doing, he's looking fantastic and he's been fighting the best guys,” 'Big John' stated.
Former featherweight leader, Aldo decided to downgrade in 2019 and after a difficult start, he managed three consecutive victories, against Marlon Vera, Peter Munhoz e Rob font respectively. At 35 years old, the Brazilian fighter has a record of 31 triumphs and seven setbacks in professional MMA.
