One of the most anticipated fights in the UFC Las Vegas 44 didn't end well for Brad Riddell. Promised lightweight (up to 70,3kg), the athlete was chosen to face the dangerous Raphael Fiziev, and will forever carry a memory of Kyrgyzstan's opponent. After the clash, the company's president, Dana White, released images of a cut suffered by the New Zealander, which required stitches.

There was great expectation for the clash between Riddell and Fiziev. The athletes entered the octagon with a convincing recent record and with their eyes on a place in the top 10 of the category led by Charles of the Bronx.

The first round of the dispute was marked by balance. With refined techniques, the athletes carried out a tense clash.

In the second stage, Fiziev presented his business card. With a round kick of rare happiness, the Kyrgyz fighter ended up knocking out his standing opponent.

With the victory, Rafael advances in the category and, next week, he should be in 12th position in the lightweight category.
