At PFL 10, Shields returned to the Octagon just months after winning in his professional MMA debut. Against Montes, the boxer once again showed deficiencies in grappling and was unable to achieve her high-level striking.
Easy prey to Abigail's takedowns, Claressa produced little in the duel. After 15 minutes, the combatant ended up defeated in a split decision by the judges.
While the boxer suffered her first setback in MMA, Montes celebrates the good moment. The fighter continues without losing in the sport, now, with three victories in a row.
