No UFC 267 next Saturday (30), Khamzat Shimaev, finally, resumes his trajectory in Ultimate, after suffering from the consequences of COVID-19. Even though I'm about to face li jingliang, the Russian spoke about his involvement in a fight with Kevin holland, backstage at one of the company's events.

In a recent interview with 'ZubaTV', Chimaev confirmed that he had a confrontation with Holland, who allegedly made fun of his problems due to the new coronavirus and, according to him, came to be in 'de facto relations' with the North American.
“Holland commented on an Instagram post about me, asking about my mask and saying I could infect someone. I approached him at the hotel and asked him what he meant by that and he said he didn't remember. Instantly, I grabbed him by the neck and pushed him. While people were holding me back, he started wanting to talk. Typical North American thing. Just talk and do nothing”, said Chimaev.
At 26, Khamzat Shimaev, today, has a perfect record. With nine fights in professional MMA, the UFC's new favorite has never known what it's like to lose. He, however, was emerging in his career when he contracted COVID-19 and even announced his retirement from the sport as he believed he would never be able to perform competitively again.
Kevin holland, in turn, had a moment of ascension in Ultimate by scoring four consecutive victories. The American even asked for a fight against Chimaev, but the duel never materialized. At UFC Vegas 38, he tried to respond to the organization's bad time (two setbacks in a row), but suffered an unintentional headbutt against Kyle Daukaus. A rematch is scheduled to take place on November 13th.
