Blindado arrived at the organization with a good victory over his compatriot Wellington Turman, still in the first round, in the UFC Las Vegas 29. The 32-year-old athlete stands out for his level of striking and impressed at the Russian 'M-1 Global' event before signing with Ultimate. In his career, he has a record of 20 triumphs – 17 of which are knockouts – and six setbacks.

Sanchez, in turn, is the winner of the 23rd season of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter', but comes from a moment of fluctuation in the franchise. His last performance took place at UFC 257, in January of this year, when he was knocked out by Makhmud Muradov in the third round. At 33 years old, the American has a record of 12 positive results and six negative results in his career.
