The UFC Sweden 2 card continues to receive new fights every day. According to the Swedish portal MMAnytt, the Ultimate organization will officially announce in the coming days the fight between middleweights Michael Kuiper and Tom Lawlor for the event on April 6th.
North-American Tom Lawlor, a participant in TUF 8, has been in the UFC since 2008, having had eight fights for the organization – of which he won four and lost another four. His opponent, Michael Kuiper, will make only his third appearance in Ultimate. The Dutchman was defeated by Brazilian Rafael “Sapo” Natal in his debut and recovered afterwards, beating Jared Hamman in August of last year.
UFC Sweden 2, also known as UFC on Fuel TV 9, is scheduled to take place on Ericsson Globe Arena, in Stockholm, on April 6th. The main fight of the night will put the local athlete face to face Alexander Gustafson e Gegard Mousasi, former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion.
