Ultimate continues to schedule fights for athletes incorporated from the now-defunct Strikeforce. Sweden's Chris Spang will make his debut in the world's most famous Octagon against Chechen Adlan Amagov. The fight will take place at UFC Sweden 2, also known as UFC on Fuel TV 9. The event will take place on Ericsson Globe Arena, in the capital Stockholm.
In his last Strikeforce appearance, in August of last year, Spang beat Nah-Shon Burrell via TKO in the first round. A feat similar to that performed by his rival, Adlan Amagov, in his last fight for the former organization. The Chechen also beat the American Keith Berry by technical knockout, just 48 seconds into the fight.
