Francis Ngannou steps into the octagon, next Saturday (20), in the main fight of UFC 220, for the fight of his life. The Cameroonian faces Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight belt. But even before knowing whether he will have won the title, the fighter will have nothing to complain about. In an interview with the French channel 'SFR Sport, Ngannou revealed that he will have the biggest purse of his career: US$500, around R$1,6 million at the current exchange rate.

Despite the highest salary of his career, the Cameroonian was not excited and complained about the amount he will receive. “You need to understand that my rise in the rankings was very fast, but the numbers don’t follow,” he declared.
Ngannou, 31, was born in Cameroon, but illegally immigrated to France, where he worked as a bricklayer. The debut in MMA only happened to the 27 sides. Until then he has a professional record of 11 wins and just one defeat. During his career in the UFC, he had six victories in six appearances. At the end of last year, the Cameroonian moved to the United States and trains at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. In his last performance, Francis took no notice of the veteran alistair overeem and won by knockout in the first round, at UFC 218, in December.
