Former UFC fighter Yan Cabral, a participant in TUF Brasil 2, inaugurated his new gym called 'Templum BCN', in Barcelona, Spain, the city where he has been living since 2015. The opening event was attended by illustrious attendees, such as Michael Page, Bellator fighter and called “Anderson Silva Englishman, due to the similarity in the way he behaves in the octagon, and Brazilian stars Neymar and Rafinha, both Barcelona football players.
At one point during the event, Neymar and Rafinha even performed the traditional face-off, a common gesture among MMA fighters. The Englishman Page played the role of intermediary in the “duel”.
Although the official inauguration only took place last Thursday (27), the gym, which offers classes in various fights, crossfit and bodybuilding, had already been operating for over a year. In addition to Cabral, the player Rafinha himself, together with businessmen André Peres and Thier Cleveland, form the quartet of owner-partners of the academy.
Yan Cabral was fired from Ultimate in June this year, after being knocked out by Reza Madadi at UFC Holanda, held in May. In total, he had five fights in the organization, with two wins and three losses.
