Now it's official. UFC 198, an event that will be held at Arena da Baixada, in Curitiba (PR), on May 14th, will have the participation of Anderson Silva. The former middleweight champion, considered one of the greatest fighters in MMA history, will be in action against Uriah Hall.

The confirmation was made by the UFC itself on Thursday night (17). Silva has a professional record of 33 wins, seven losses and one fight without result. “Spider” comes from a defeat to Michael Bisping No. UFC London and hasn't won since October 2012, when he beat Stephen Bonnar. Already Uriah Hall, nicknamed “Ambulance Man” after sending several opponents to the hospital on TUF 17, has a record of 12 wins and six losses. The Jamaican comes from a defeat to Robert whittaker in November last year.
With the announcement, UFC 198 becomes even more stellar. In the main fight of the night, Fabricio Werdum defends the heavyweight belt against Stipe Miocic; already Vitor belfort e Ronaldo Jacare they fight 100% Tupiniquim in the second most important fight. The event will also have the participation of Mauritius Shogun, Rogério Minotouro e Demian Maia.
